Description

The Department of Psychiatry is seeking to hire a part-time Behavioral Health Professional to join our Family Focused Program.

You will assist with outpatient therapy groups or the UCLA Parenting Program for Children and Adolescents as well as the Children's Friendship Program.

These programs provide evidence-based skills through individual psychotherapy and treatment to school-age children.


Primary duties include:
Assessing youth eligibility for participation in outpatient therapy groups for pediatric related disorders

Conducting group-based interventions to patients

Working with interdisciplinary team to devise and implement group/individual therapy sessions and treatment plans

Administering interviews and rating scales

Providing treatment plan to pediatric patients

Completing required paperwork for assessments and treatment sessions
