CENTRALIZED LENDING MSR

Job Summary:

To function as team member to assist members, staff, and third parties with general aspects of direct consumer lending for the credit union. Review and process newly submitted consumer loan applications. Collect and archive supporting loan documentations as needed. Prepare and process loan origination documents. Verify application and loan origination documents are accurate and complete. Effective manage personal queue of open and active loan applications. Comply with all applicable regulations, laws, policies, and procedures.

Salary: $ $21.00 Per Hour/DOE

Daily Responsibilities:

• • Review and update newly submitted loan applications for accuracy prior to submitting for underwriting.
  
  • Communicate directly with applicants and provide details and requirements necessary to proceed with their loan application.
  
  • Collect and review supporting documents required, as needed, to process the loan application.
  
  • Calculate gross monthly income utilizing submitted documentation.
  
  • Coordinate with third-party sellers (dealers/private parties).
  
  • Document all actions taken within the electronic loan origination computer system.
  
  • Prepare and review loan origination documents for accuracy.
  
  • Process loan origination documents through an eSign system to allow members to sign remotely.
  
  • Review all loan application information and documents prior to funding the loan.
  
  • Accurately fund and originate the new loan including disbursement of loan proceeds to designated payees.
  
  • Verification that all policy and procedural requirements were met during the funding process.
  
  • Effectively manage a personal queue of loan applications to maximize productivity.
  
  • Identify possible cross sell opportunities for back-end products and additional loans.
  
  • Provide administrative support to the department as needed.

Preferred Skills:

• Six months or more of similar or related experience.
• Equivalent to a high school education.
