- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and sterile environment for surgical procedures.
- Provide direct patient care during surgical procedures, both as a scrub and circulating nurse.
- Effectively communicate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patient vital signs, manage anesthesia, and assist with surgical site preparation.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all surgical activities and patient records.
- Demonstrate proficiency in orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, orthopedic, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, and oral-maxillofacial surgeries.
- Utilize your skills in DaVinci robotic surgery for two specialties.
- Deliver high-quality patient care while adhering to safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
- Valid RN license in the state of New York.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience working as an OR RN.
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications preferred.
- Minimum one year of medical/surgical experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing principles and practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work 12-hour nights shifts.
