    Job Title: Assistant Community Manager

    As an Assistant Community Manager at {company}, your primary responsibility will be to ensure full compliance with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) regulations for all residents.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain a property waiting list and coordinate on-site data collections and processing of resident information.
    • Schedule and complete resident recertification interviews, ensuring accurate calculation of income, assets, rent levels, and other essential factors.
    • Assist the manager with accounts receivables and account payables, as well as coordinate apartment inspections and create work requests.
    • Provide excellent customer service, respond to resident inquiries, and maintain accurate resident files in accordance with company policy and regulatory agency guidelines.
    • Support office staff with various tasks, including rent collection and social activities.
    • Perform additional duties as required.

    Requirements:

    • At least 2 years of experience in property management.
    • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and One-Site Property Management Software.
    • Experience with accounts receivable and collections is essential, with a preference for Project-Based Section 8 experience.
    • A minimum of 2 years of recertification experience or professional certification such as Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) and any relevant LIHTC designations.
    • Attention to detail and ability to work independently on assignments.
