    Description

    Job Title: IT Project Manager

    Duration: 12-24 months contract with possible extension

    Location: Phoenix, AZ

    Pay Rate: $65-$75/hour on W2 without any benefits

    Job description

    The IT Project Manager would lead projects for critical initiatives such as Enterprise system upgrades, Data Center Modernization efforts, software implementations, and other innovative projects.

    KEY JOB DUTIES

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Seven (7) years as project lead with responsible experience in IT infrastructure projects, implementations, interface redesign, testing, and change management across multiple software subsystems.
    • large-scale IT/infrastructure systems experience with upgrades, conversion or software experience.
    • degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a related field.
    • Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.
    • All position finalists are subject to a criminal background check applicable to the department or position.
    • Ability to be on-site as required by the project needs and project team activities.

    Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), or other project management certifications

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS – The minimum qualifications listed above, plus:

    • Master's degree in business/public administration, Information Technology, or a related field
    • Experience in IT program or project management.
    • Experience leading IT project management teams.
    • Experience with vendor management.
    • Experience with software implementation/upgrade.
    • Experience working with or for public sector organizations.
    • Experience with project and portfolio management tools.
    • Excellent customer service and business relationship communication skills
