    Description

    MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

    • Possess a minimum of a DoD Secret clearance
    • Bachelor's degree required
    • Five (5) years of software development experience with projects or programs
    • Must be detailed oriented and be able to interpret impacts to development products based on changes in the Platform Interface Control Document/Interface Design Description (ICD/IDD) and Interface Requirements Specification (IRS) documentation
    • Experience working in a DevSecOps environment
    • Experience of programming languages: Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, C#, C++
    • Experience working with JSON, XML and protocol buffer data formats
    • Must work well in small team environment and adjust to changing priorities

    DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

    • Prior experience in front-end and back-end design and development
    • Experience working in an Agile development environment
    • Experience using Atlassian Suite (BitBucket, JIRA, Bamboo), Artifactory
    • Secure software development and information assurance
    • Experience with Docker and Pod man
    • Experience in developing software product help documents
    • Experience with DISA Application Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
    • Experience in performing code reviews using static source code analysis tools (i.e. HP Fortify)
    • Windows/Windows SL/Linux/Redhat Operating Systems

    FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING

    PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Acts as a member of the U.S. Navy Tactical Mobile (TacMobile) Aircraft Interface and Applications (AIA) team
    • Provides Government Off The Shelf (GOTS) products to support the U.S. Navy's P-8A Poseidon Maritime Patrol Reconnaissance Aircraft (MPRA)
    • Develops AIA GOTS software products utilized by U.S. Navy warfighters
      • The U.S. Navy TacMobile organization consists of Fixed sites, Tactical Operations Centers (TOCs), Mobile TOCs (MTOCs) and Expeditionary Program of Record (POR) ground support systems
    • Provides development and engineering efforts to ensure the aircraft has the mission specific Pre-flight Insertion Data (PID) files, properly formatted and loaded aircraft media, and supports post-mission data extraction and analysis; these capabilities ensure the Navy's ability to execute and conduct effective Maritime missions around the globe
