AAMCI is looking for a Full-time Custodian/maintenance for our 100-unit Elderly/Disabled community in Knoxville, TN.

Monday-Friday 8 am to 5pm, $16.00 per hour, On-call premium

AAMCI provides many training opportunities, and many paid opportunities to obtain higher levels of certificates.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Upkeep of all community grounds
• Clean common areas
• Clean Stairwells
• Vacuum hallways
• Mopping, sweeping
• Clean and sanitize elevator
• Remove trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter daily
• Assist in preparation of make ready units, including remove trash
• Paint vacant units
• Light maintenance, Electrical, plumbing
• Assist maintenance team with snow removal (if applicable)
• Report any maintenance concerns for resolution

Qualifications necessary for success:

• Ability to self-motivate
• Janitorial experience
• Maintenance experience
• Hand tools
• Power tools
• Painting
• Courteous
• Physically able to perform all duties required, including but not limited to standing, walking, lifting, bending, and working outdoors
• Drivers License
• Reliable transportation
