    CTMS, a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) has a mission to provide superior quality and unparalleled customer service in all aspects of our business. We are seeking a Full-Time IT Maintenance and Auditing Technician in our Technical Department to provide internal support for service contract clients. Full-Time IT Maintenance and Auditing Technician candidates should have a mix of IT infrastructure management and monitoring skills and be passionate about technology and helping people. We support both Macs and PCs, BYOD, printer, faxes, copiers, etc. Strong Organizational skills are a must

    Qualified IT Maintenance and Auditing Technician Candidates must live in the greater Akron, Ohio area.

    The duties of an IT Maintenance and Auditing Technician include, but are not limited to:

    1.) Conduct real-time monitoring of IT infrastructure to identify potential issues, performance bottlenecks and security threads.

    2.) Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes and procedures.

    3.) Generate regular reports on system and network health, performance and security management and IT teams.

    4.) Asset Inventory: maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, including hardware and software, and ensure alignment with licensing and compliance requirements.

    5.) Alert Management: respond to alerts generated by tools, analyze root causes and implement corrective actions or escalate issues to appropriate teams.

    6.) Top notch customer service.

    The salary range for the RMM Technician position is $38,000-$45,000, commensurate with experience.

    Minimum Requirements for the IT Maintenance and Auditing Technician position includes:

    • Bachelor's degree, IT certifications or equivalent of 5+ years in strong customer service skills.
    • Proven experience in IT infrastructure management and monitoring.
    • Familiarity with tools such as ConnectWise Automate, SolarWinds N-central, or similar platforms.
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
    • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation is a plus.
    • Effective communication skills for remote collaboration.

    This role is well-suited for a tech-savvy professional who excels in remote IT management, possesses strong analytical skills, and is adept at leveraging RMM tools to ensure the optimal performance and security of IT systems in a distributed environment.
