Ensures the safety of park and lake guests through routine patrol and enforcement activities.
Responsibilities
- Patrols MWCD property investigates incidents and complaints issues warnings citations makes arrests performs boating safety inspections executes bench warrants works with various law enforcement agencies in investigative preventative measures enforces state laws Conservancy District rules regulations renders assistance to public providing information pertinent MWCD facilities safety requirements boater education points interest area administers first aid rescue required maintains required ranger logs vehicle equipment checks supplies inventory reports mechanical or safety issues appropriate supervisor appropriately utilizes warnings citations arrests enforce state laws Conservancy District rules compiles law enforcement related statistics keeps records prepares reports law enforcement related activities assists park guests finding campsite monitors campsites reservations completes daily camp lot occupied checks ensures Campground Rules Guidelines being followed notifies appropriate manager any safety concerns realized performing duties notifies appropriate manager any law enforcement customer issues require further attention
