As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you start each workday ready to treat each patient with care and companionship.
You will be caring for the residents in a variety of ways primarily with daily living such as dressing, grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting, colostomy care, transferring, walking, prosthetic appliances, positioning, and range of motion exercises.
You strive to provide extraordinary care while creating moments of joy and a sense of belonging. You do everything you can to preserve their dignity, as you provide the individualized care that they need.You are vigilant about reporting any changes in the condition of residents to the supervising nurse to ensure that all medical needs are properly met.
At the end of each day, you may go home tired, but you feel amazing knowing you have impacted the lives of many within your community.
