    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Manage portfolio of Web based applications including custom applications and Drupal CMS.
    Develop dynamic Web based applications and integrations as needed to enhance Davenport University's web presence.

    Author SQL stored procedures (and SQL statements) to support web applications, using standards-compliant Microsoft SQL-Server or Oracle PL/SQL as needs dictate.

    Act as administrator for all University IIS.
    Work closely to implement standardized testing and bug-resolution procedures for applications developed by the Web and Media Services team.

    Work closely with end-users to develop, implement and maintain the University website and intranet tools to support specific business processes.

    Define, develop and implement web site and intranet tools architectures.
    Document all applications in a manner consistent with other web team applications.
    Provide training on software for Customer Support Center and Campus Level Support team members as needed.
    Track recurring problems and recommend/implement solutions.
    Follow-up with customers to ensure resolution of problems and complete customer satisfaction.
    Serve on appropriate ITS teams and committees.
    Attend ITS team meetings as needed.

    Understand and abide by all external and internal regulations and policies. This includes NCAA, GLIAC and national affiliations associated within athletics or other role specific regulations.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Bachelor's degree and two plus years of web programming/server administration experience preferred.
    1+ years experience coding in a .NET, ASP (MVC and Web API) (multiple languages a plus).
    Experience with administering Windows Server IIS operations and utilities.
    Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
    Experience with Drupal/PHP is a plus.
    Experience with Blackboard LMS is a plus.
    Demonstrated communication skills (both written and oral)
    Demonstrated project management skills
    Demonstrated leadership experience on development projects
    Demonstrated ability to effectively plan, develop goals, and meet deadlines successfully

    Business office environment. Prolonged sitting and standing. Use of personal computer and telephone (eye and hand strain).
    Occasional travel between locations required (own transportation). No regular lifting requirements, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
