Saint Alphonsus Health System is excited to partner with Sound Anesthesia in building their Anesthesia service line.

Practice:

• Wide array of case mix to include General, Orthopedic, OB/GYN, Neuro, Vascular, and Trauma. Cardiac is a plus but not mandatory. (additional pay for cardiac experience)
• No complex peds, or burns

People:

• Physicians and CRNAs work within a highly collaborative environment of mutual respect and dedication to patient care
• Supervision model with a max 4:1 ratio

Work Schedule:

• MDs are expected to be scheduled for 2,060 hours annually to maintain 1.0 FTE status.

Call:
In-House Call Only

• Frequency = 1-2 Weeknights per month, 1-weekend every 4-6 weeks based on fully staffed

Boise-Cardiac: Pager Call + In-House

• In-House = Same structure as Boise-General (lower proration)

Frequency

• Pager: 5-weeknights per month, 1-weekend per month

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
• Successful completion of an ACGME accredited anesthesiology residency program.
• Board certification through the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology (AOBA) or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment .
• Obtain Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges at SARMC and other health system affiliated hospitals as needed; valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
