    About Us:
    Impact Kids has been dedicated to providing safe, enjoyable, and impactful enrichment programs for over a decade. We cater to students in both public and private schools across the nation, offering them a secure environment to develop, learn, play, and simply be kids within our before, during, and after school programs

    Who We Are Looking For:
    We seek enthusiastic and experienced individuals to teach and inspire through engaging STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) education. The ideal candidate will possess a vibrant, positive attitude and a heartfelt passion for influencing children's lives through interactive STEM activities.

    This role requires the ability to offer constructive feedback, implement curriculum effectively, and work collaboratively as part of a team. Proficiency in communication with children and parents is essential, including the ability to convey messages in clear, concise, and grammatically correct language in all professional interactions.

    A Child abuse clearance and criminal background checks are mandatory.

    Experience Requirements:
    Minimum of 2 years working with children in various contexts such as academic tutoring, camp counseling, or youth volunteering; experience teaching STEM subjects for 1-5 years is preferred.

    Education Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree is preferred, though not required.

    Essential Job Responsibilities:
    The STEM Educator will be responsible for supervising students, delivering instruction, creating a safe and enjoyable learning atmosphere, and acting as a positive role model. Key responsibilities include:

    • Supervising and instructing students in STEM subjects while ensuring a safe and vibrant learning environment.
    • Implementing STEM lessons targeted at students aged 4 to 18 with diverse skill levels.
    • Promoting essential STEM skills to boost students' knowledge and proficiency.
    • Managing groups of students with attention to behavior management, health, and safety.
    • Ensuring the safety and well-being of students and team members.
    • Planning daily activities in a fun and innovative manner.
    • Employing effective classroom management to foster an inclusive and enjoyable environment.
    • Collaborating with fellow Activity Specialists and taking on shared responsibilities.
    • Adhering to the Impact Kids Code of Conduct and maintaining the company's professional image.
    • Exemplifying the core values of Impact Kids at all times and following company policies.

    Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
    Willingness to travel is necessary. Candidates must be equipped to respond to emergencies potentially requiring running and climbing stairs. A suitable physical condition is expected to fulfill all responsibilities associated with this position.
