We are seeking a skilled and experienced Power BI Contractor to join our team on a project basis.

As a Power BI Contractor, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into visually compelling and insightful reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.

Your expertise in data visualization, data modeling, and Power BI development will contribute to the creating insight into our end-to-end view of the development lifecycle.

QualificationsProven experience as a Power BI Developer or Consultant, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous Power BI projects.
In-depth understanding of data visualization principles, data modeling, and best practices for creating impactful reports and dashboards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI Desktop, Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service.

Solid experience in transforming complex data from various sources into a coherent and usable format within Power BI.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Working knowledge of SQLFamiliarity with data warehousing, and ETL processes is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work within project deadlines.
Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or equivalent experience.

• Day ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business objectives, and translate them into effective Power BI solutions.

Design and develop interactive and visually appealing reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI Desktop.
Create and maintain data models, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity for optimal performance.
Transform complex data sets from multiple sources into clean, understandable, and actionable insights.
Implement calculated columns, measures, and DAX expressions to support advanced analytics and complex calculations.
Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data pipelines are optimized for reporting purposes.

Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve the quality of deliverables.

Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Power BI reports for responsiveness and efficiency. Provide training and guidance to end users on how to interpret and utilize Power BI reports effectively.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data connectivity, transformations, and visualizations.
