    Description

    I&C Engineer responsible for the development of SCADA and I&C designs for solar PV and battery storage projects.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Create I&C block and interconnection diagrams; provide input for other deliverables as required.
    • Specify components to meet project requirements.
    • Review and prepare bill of materials for I&C system equipment.
    • Under guidance and in collaboration with electrical engineering, develop, document, and execute control solutions to comply with contractual and/or utility requirements.
    • Perform technical review of third party I&C and SCADA design documentation.
    • Support the commissioning of utility scale I&C systems, and interface with Strata field personnel to ensure project requirements are satisfied expeditiously.
    • Develop data collection solutions for reporting equipment and interface (including protocol) solutions for reporting equipment.
    • Provide technical / commercial input for bid proposals.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    None.

    Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

    · BS in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, from an ABET accredited university.

    · Minimum 5 years relevant work experience

    · Proficient with AutoCAD (desired), and MS Office.

    · Experience with design of PV projects (desired).

    · Comfortable presenting to and interacting with clients, consultants, vendors, authorities with jurisdiction, and regulatory agencies.

    Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

    Work is performed in an office environment and in the field. Must be able to sit, stand, bend, twist, and lift up to 20 pounds.
