    Description

    The Preventative Maintenance (PM) Technician is responsible for the routine preventative maintenance on all Oakley Transport equipment including but not limited to trucks, yard dogs, APU's, and company vehicles.
    Candidates for this position should have mechanical experience and a working knowledge of Tractor and APU operations and should have their own tools.

    Essential Functions:


    • Conduct complete inspection of each vehicle

    • Open repair orders and document any abnormal issues discovered

    • Report issues to equipment manager

    • Replace all fluids and filters at the recommended mileage

    • Grease the complete unit

    • Charge all parts

    • Keep stock of all filters, lubricants, and fluids used

    • Monitor all waste lubricants and fluids and dispose of them correctly

    • Keep education up to date on current Oakley equipment and processes.
    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Maintain clean work area

    • Monitor waste lubricant level and advise on disposal

    • Other duties as assigned

    • Good computer skills

    • Use skills effectively, both individually and as a member of a team
