Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
Ensure the smooth operation of our enterprise data platforms, addressing user and system issues when they arise. Gain a deep understanding of our suite of tools and how they are deployed on our servers. Administer these platforms, setting up and configuring user spaces, and integrating systems as required.

Monitor and understand usage patterns to inform future licensing and infrastructure decisions, a task that will require you to engage with the data and create visual presentations of your findings.

Learning new tools quickly and guiding changes in our toolset based on the needs of the business and market trends will be crucial to this role.

Build and deploy custom app solutions, utilizing your knowledge of cloud operations, software lifecycle, and DevOps practices. Operate within an agile environment, you'll manage projects using tools like JIRA and run them efficiently and effectively. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.


Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in managing and troubleshooting data and analytics platforms, such as Tableau Server, Alteryx Server, Databricks, Immuta, and Power BI
• 5+ years of experience with cloud technologies, preferably Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
• Experience with data warehousing and ETL concepts
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies and tools such as JIRA
• Knowledge of software development and delivery practices
• Ability to understand and analyze system usage patterns to forecast future licensing and infrastructure needs

Formal Education:

• HS diploma or GED

Desired Skills:

• Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark
• Experience with DevOps practices
• Experience with Unix/Linux systems and command-line
• Experience with Office 365 tools, including with PowerPoint for creating visual presentations
• Knowledge of IT operations and infrastructure
• Knowledge of API integration development
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
