    Position Overview

    The Travel Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic, neurological, and general mobility conditions in a hospital setting. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans that promote recovery, independence, and improved quality of life.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans
    • Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and mobility training
    • Educate patients and families on recovery strategies and home exercise programs
    • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
    • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members
    • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

    Education & Certification Requirements

    • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or Master's in Physical Therapy)
    • Active South Dakota Physical Therapist license (or compact eligibility)
    • Current BLS certification required
    • Previous hospital or acute care experience preferred
    • Strong communication and patient-centered care skills
