    Job Summary


    The Quality Assurance Engineer works within an agile team and is responsible for creating and implementing a strategy for quality coordination and testing, assessing and introducing solutions for our continuous improvement initiatives, as well as suggesting solutions to identified qualified problems.

    Responsibilities

    Operate as embedded quality advocate and tester within a cross-functional development team.
    Understand product goals and effectively champion a quality strategy that supports those goals.
    Build and maintain test cases according to documentation.

    Become a subject matter expert in your team's domain, and contribute to the overall design and direction of the system.

    Assess release readiness per feature quality criteria.
    Organize and lead quality efforts on cross team projects.
    Collaborate with QA efforts across multiple teams and projects when needed.
    Find opportunities to streamline and automate test efforts.
    Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
    Question embedded "truths" in the interest of ensuring the best quality possible and pushing for department evolution.
    Learn new technologies and tools as business needs change and effectively incorporate them.
    Identify key KPIs for product quality.

    Requirements

    3+ years' experience in Software Quality Assurance, ideally working within an n-tier environment.
    Experience leading test efforts and meeting quality objectives on time.
    Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
    Strong understanding of different software testing methodologies.
    Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
    Experience working within Agile teams.
    Team player and fun to work with.

    Minimum Salary:
    $86,000


    Maximum Salary:
    $116,000

    This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
