    SafeAI is seeking for an experienced Functional Safety Manager to drive the execution of safety strategy for industrial and common road automation software, develop and improve processes, and support teams for safety compliance.

    The Safety Manager will be responsible for coordinating the activities of multiple disciplines on functional safety in order to achieve overall product success and organisational efficiency, while ensuring product quality and functional safety requirements.


    Responsibilities:

    • Performs impact analysis and develops safety work products to meet ISO26262 functional safety compliance
    • Provides input for defining safety case scope
    • Develops safety manual in cases of SEooC development
    • Collaborates with the design team in the design of effective technical solutions aimed to achieve adequate robustness at System, HW and SW architectural level in compliance with ISO26262
    • Provides guidance as needed for development of IP-level (hardware and software) safety requirements
    • Defines the system safety architecture and safety mechanisms
    • Perform safety analyses (safety FMEA, FMEDA / hardware metrics, FTA, etc.)
    • Provides input to system DFMEAs and supports the development of IP DFMEAs as needed
    • Provides planning directions to DV team for verification and validation of the safety architecture (e.g., development of test specifications in compliance with ISO 26262/ IEC 61508)
    • Develops the safety case report and safety analysis reports

    Qualifications:

    • BS or MS degree in Engineering or equivalent, with 3 years experience
    • In depth knowledge of applicable Quality and Functional Safety standards
    • Experience with software, modeling and simulation tools
    • Excellent documentation and communication skills
    • Experience of FuSa EDA tools is a plus. Certified in ISO 26262 is a plus
