    As an Industrial Engineer with ProMach, you will collaborate with internal partners to improve operational processes from design to execution of build-to-order packaging equipment.

    You will support the success of the company by analyzing and improving processes that help maximize profitability by driving efficiency, with a focus on lead-time and labor reduction, across the organization.

    This position is a remote role based from your home with frequent travel. You must be close to a major airport with the ability to travel 60+%. You will report to the Director of Supply Chain for the Secondary and Pharma Business Unit. This role will also provide support and receive direction from the unit's Product Line Manager.
    How you'll contribute to our team.
    Perform operational process design and requirements definition in conjunction with functional teams.

    Educate, teach, and provide training and/or resources to maintain the required level of department expertise for business systems and processes such as DFMA, ERP, and flow-line assembly.

    Divisional support resource for manufacturing processes, operational and material flow, assembly station development.
    Develop and implement the proper KPI's and tools to monitor operational efficiencies and machine cost reduction. Provide corrective actions and/or process change steps for divisions to resolve recurring problems.

    Plan, develop and implement inventory control and job order procedures to optimize the meeting of production and internal/external customer demand.

    Partner with VP/General Managers and other divisional leaders to develop configurable equipment with an optimized manufacturing process.
    Develop and train divisional leaders on best practices in material management for flow-line manufacturing. Including material presentation, movement, and vendor agreements.

    Analyze and prioritize requests by identifying existing solutions and/or alternative solutions that optimally address the business needs; work with corporate technical resources to fulfill enhancement requests.

    Participate in make/buy decisions for manufacturing components and assemblies.

    Partner with divisional leaders to improves manufacturing efficiency by performing time studies, analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.

    Does this sound like you?
    Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering
    7+ years' related work experience
    Manufacturing industry experience
    Experience with SyteLine, or other fully integrated ERP systems
    Ability to mine/extract data to support core business processes
    Experience with project implementation and solution engineering
    Ability to multi-task and work independently
    Good interpersonal and communication skills
    Strong customer service disposition and sense of professionalism
    A phenomenal teammate who works well with technical and non-technical resources
    Ability to take strategic direction from executive management
    Available to travel up to 50%
