    GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Overall Spa treatment and service performance and facilitation, ensuring the highest luxury resort standards of professionalism, customer service and optimum financial performance. Performing as trained all spa treatments to guests in a professional and pleasant manner, anticipating guest needs and inquiries, educating information and education to guests and colleagues while upholding Company Standards and Codes of Conduct.

    EXAMPLES OF DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Includes, but is not limited to the following).
    1. Responsible for the health and safety of guests, employees and members in the Spa.
    2. Adhere to guidelines and procedures outlined in the Health and Safety Manual.
    3. Ensure that good practices are applied to all issues in relation to guests and colleagues.
    4. Help create a happy and motivated team and ensure the smooth running of the Spa at all times.
    5. Perform Spa treatments, Massage, Body Scrubs, Body Wraps, etc. as trained.
    6. Promote Massage, Body Treatments and all offered Spa treatments and services.
    7. Actively participate in other areas of the Massage, Body Scrub, Body Treatment, etc., product knowledge and retail sales.
    8. Assist guest regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way.
    9. Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service. Ensure individualized guest service through acknowledging and responding to their needs and expectations.
    10. Learn the names and personally recognize our regular guests and members.
    11. Maintain a thorough knowledge of current guest services, activities, dining options, shops, local attractions and historical information regarding the company and the surrounding area to answer any questions guests may have to the best of one's ability.
    12. If applicable, complete a Guest Problem Resolutions (GPR) form on any issues (solved or unsolved) and follow-up on issues as needed (if computer access is not available, give information to admin support).
    13. Maintain a clean, hygienic and neat work environment at all times, ensuring all equipment is in safe working order.
    14. Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues, known safety hazards or unsafe practices and procedures to supervisor immediately.
    15. Stock towels and empty towel bins.
    16. Communicate usage totals, problems, concerns to appropriate manager.
    17. Record and bill orders accurately into the POS and process payments using guest/member cards in accordance with accounting procedures.
    18. Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement.
    19. Follow departmental policies and procedures, safety and sanitation policies.
    PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities). Must be detail oriented and able to manage competing priorities and multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to easily adapt to organizational and environmental changes. Must possess a positive attitude and have the ability to work with a variety of people and in cooperation with colleagues efficiently and effectively. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities. Highly responsible and reliable. Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
    Education: High school education or equivalent preferred.

    Experience: Preferred experience in a massage therapy environment preferred but not required.

    Certificate/License: Certification from an accredited school of Massage required. State of Nevada Licensure required. CPR and First Aid certification preferred. All professional licenses are required to be current.

    TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Be mobile in all Spa areas. Work is performed in areas, which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, smoky, dimly lit or brightly illuminated or on slippery surfaces. May come into contact with solvents/oils, fumes/odors, dirt/dust. Use of electrical devices and computer equipment. Constant contact with staff, guests/visitors.

    TYPICAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS: (May be required in order to perform the essential functions of the position). Frequent standing, bending and reaching throughout shift. Occasional lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs. Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, sitting. Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps.
