    Job Description

    A TH CTS Sleep Disorders Associate is a valuable member of our team at Stony Brook Medicine, providing clinical services to patients and performing comprehensive sleep testing and analysis.

    Duties may include:

    • Reviewing and analyzing patient information, identifying special needs, and completing documentation.
    • Preparing and calibrating equipment, applying electrodes, and performing physiologic calibrations.
    • Performing sleep testing, making adjustments, and documenting observations.
    • Scoring records using AASM protocols and recommending procedures to enhance patient flow.

    Qualifications

    We are looking for qualified candidates with the following qualifications:

    • Respiratory Therapists/Technicians: Valid NYS license, CPR certification, and completion of an Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy.
    • Polysomnographic Technologists: Authorization as a Polysomnographic Technologist in New York State, valid CPR certification, and experience in sleep disorders testing.

    Salary and Benefits

    The estimated salary range for this position is $46.82 per hour, with opportunities for growth and development within the organization.
