- Analysis and repair of tools to address quality and production concerns, as assigned.
- Manufacture spare components and perform die maintenance of tool to standards set out in electronically-maintained tool timing records and tool designs.
- Complete electronic record of tool maintenance performed by part and job number.
- Develop preventive and predictive tool maintenance schedules based upon analysis of tool performance to achieve improved production volumes.
- Review "last piece" inspection records and make necessary improvements.
- Ensure documentation and records are maintained.
- Attend training activities as required.
- Participate in continual improvement teams as required.
- Participate in safety and OSHA training.
- Keep work area clean and tidy at all times.
- Graduation from high school or receipt of equivalent degree (GED).
- Completion of 2 years of apprenticeship in Tool and Die Making or equivalent work experience.
- Will have knowledge of tool and die manufacturing methods, techniques, and related equipment.
- Knowledge of English and Metric systems of measurement.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 quality systems.
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety procedures
- Ability to recognize and understand Globally Harmonized Hazard Identification
- Basic level of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
