Job summary:
We are seeking a Quality Engineer II to support our Optical Systems division in Chantilly, VA.
As a Quality Engineer II you will develop and execute inspection methods to verify product quality and workmanship ensure products comply with internal procedures customer requirements industry standards such as AS9100 investigate products process nonconformances lead root cause analysis corrective actions generate manage close Nonconformance Reports Corrective Action Reports and support MRB FRB activities provide quality training guidance production engineering teams workmanship standards procedures ESD FOD coordinate document calibration activities maintain metrology controls perform inspections review inspection data document results findings collect analyze trend quality data using digital tools Power Apps Power BI support data-driven decision making develop maintain dashboards reports monitor quality metrics nonconformance trends corrective action effectiveness process performance participate internal customer third-party quality audits required drive continuous improvement initiatives efficiency repeatability processes travel required test campaigns supplier activities audits source inspections program milestones perform duties assigned support compliance program execution
