    Description


    Structural Engineer with Professional Engineer (P.E.) License

    This role as a Structural Engineer offers a fully remote opportunity to work hands-on at different job sites daily, allowing you to escape the traditional office environment and enjoy the fresh air.




    Responsibilities


    • Inspect buildings for damages such as roofs, foundations, and water-related issues.
    • Prepare detailed reports outlining findings from inspections.
    • Maintain a helpful and approachable attitude towards internal and external stakeholders.
    • Provide testimony in court when necessary, supported by the company's legal team.
    • Participate in continuous learning and training opportunities, funded by the company.
    • Occasionally work extra hours during peak periods.
    • Travel to diverse locations for work, sometimes requiring overnight stays.

    Requirements


    • Hold a valid Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the state of practice.
    • Obtain or have the ability to acquire a specific engineering certification within 90 days.
    • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
    • Ideally, have 2-3 years of experience in failure analysis or relevant fields.
    • Maintain a clean driver's license record.
    • Proficient in technical writing and Microsoft Word.
    • Familiarity with basic computer tools such as Microsoft Calendar, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
    • Strong customer service skills, teamwork abilities, and a service-oriented mindset.
    • Capable of working independently, particularly in a remote/home office setup.
    • Access to reliable home internet and mobile phone service.
    • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Successfully pass a pre-employment physical examination.
