Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales initiatives across multiple territories. This pivotal role involves developing strategic business relationships, managing key accounts, and driving revenue growth through innovative sales strategies. Your expertise in B2B sales, territory management, and technical product demonstrations will be instrumental in expanding our market presence and achieving ambitious sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a regional sales effort to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Develop comprehensive territory management plans to maximize coverage, lead generation, and customer engagement.
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients while proactively identifying new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and targeted marketing efforts.
- Conduct detailed product demos and technical presentations to prospective clients, showcasing solutions that meet their specific needs.
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track sales activities, forecast revenue, analyze market trends, and optimize sales strategies.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients to secure mutually beneficial deals while maintaining profitability.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact through closing, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement, upselling opportunities, and potential market expansion.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and competitive insights to senior management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales or territory management within a B2B environment, preferably involving custom food products.
- Expertise in business development, account management, and customer service excellence.
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or equivalent tools for tracking sales activities and analyzing data.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close complex deals effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for delivering compelling product demos and engaging presentations.
- Ability to conduct cold calls confidently while building long-term client relationships through inside and outside sales strategies.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market trends and develop strategic plans accordingly.
