Head of Accounting – Container Industry - Lathrop

Job summary
We're looking for an experienced Head of Accounting to lead our finance team at our Lathrop CA facility.As the Head of Accounting you will oversee all accounting operations including financial reporting internal controls and compliance while driving process improvements and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a high-performing accounting team AP AR payroll GL Manage month-end quarter-end and year-end closings Prepare and review GAAP-compliant financial statements Oversee audits maintain internal financial controls Partner with operations to improve cost accounting inventory management Ensure compliance with tax regulatory requirements Drive accounting process improvements using NetSuite ERP Provide strategic insights support executive decision-making What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance or related field CPA CMA preferred 8+ years of progressive accounting experience including 3+ years in a leadership role Hands-on NetSuite ERP experience required Background in manufacturing logistics or container industry preferred Strong technical accounting GAAP knowledge Excellent analytical organizational leadership skills Benefits Medical dental vision insurance Paid time off sick pay holidays Powered by JazzHR
