    Location: Vermont

    Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

    Schedule: Every other weekend; possible on-call duties

    Highlights:

    • Adult forensic/intensive psychiatric care setting with secure, 14-bed unit design
    • Work with a multidisciplinary team specializing in co-occurring disorders and complex psychiatric needs
    • Provide clinical supervision of mental health workers and lead therapeutic care delivery
    • Float to other units and participate in charge nurse shifts as needed
    • American Health Association BLS required; Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) offered onsite
    • Contract includes scheduled blackout dates for time off

    Requirements:

    • Active Vermont or Compact RN license
    • Minimum 5 years of RN experience with recent adult forensic psychiatry experience within the last 3 months (required)
    • Recent inpatient psych experience within the last 3 months (long-term care does not qualify)
    • Intensive/forensics psych or behavioral health experience clearly documented on resume
    • American Health Association BLS certification
    • Psych skills checklist completed within the last year
    • Two supervisory references from the last 2 years of employment
    • Willingness to float to other units and assume charge responsibilities
    • First-time travelers considered with appropriate experience
