    Position Summary:


    The Software Engineer will support the development of software solutions that drive the functionality and efficiency of Nuclein's Rapid PCR technology.

    In collaboration with cross-functional teams, this individual will design, develop, and maintain software applications in support of products, from concept to commercialization.


    Responsibilities:


    Design and develop software applications for controlling and managing the operation of Rapid PCR devices, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

    Collaborate with hardware engineers, firmware developers, and bioinformatics experts to integrate software components into the overall system architecture.
    Implement user-friendly interfaces and workflows to streamline the operation of Rapid PCR devices for healthcare professionals.
    Develop algorithms and data analysis tools to process and interpret PCR data, enabling accurate and rapid diagnostic results.
    Conduct thorough testing and validation of software applications to ensure robustness, reliability, and performance under various operating conditions.
    Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting activities to identify and resolve software defects and system issues.
    Stay updated on emerging technologies, software development methodologies, and regulatory requirements relevant to medical device software.


    Collaborate with quality assurance and regulatory affairs teams to prepare documentation and support regulatory submissions for software-related aspects of Rapid PCR devices.

    ualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
    3+ years of experience in software development, preferably in a regulated industry such as medical devices or healthcare technology.

    Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or Java, with a strong understanding of software design principles and best practices.

    Experience with real-time embedded systems, microcontrollers, and device drivers is desirable.
    Familiarity with software development tools and version control systems (e.g., Git, JIRA, Jenkins) is advantageous.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
    Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
    Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
