    Description
    Position Summary:The Commercial Construction Install/enhancement supervisor will supervise and coordinate all work performed for the customer, maintain quality control, and ensure all work is completed on time and within budget. You will also be the point of contact with the customers to communicate expectations to the general manager, assistant project manager, and VP of sales. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, creating quality work, and meeting customer needs and expectations. You will keep efficiency and quality in mind, making sure tasks are performed within budgeted hours.

    Job Responsibilities
    • Establish and maintain relationships with superintendents, sub-contractors, and vendors on all job sites.
    • Lead assigned job sites.
    • Successfully complete contracted and on-going tasks with quality, efficiency, safety, and accountability.
    • Complete all necessary documentation accurately and timely, review and code time sheets for accuracy.
    • Train and develop crew members and foreman.
    • Assist manager in performance evaluations, discipline, or promotion of construction team members.
    • Coordinate daily planning with foreman.
    • Complete safety checks on equipment and assigned tools.
    • Communicate daily with general manager and assistant project manager for all aspects related to assigned job sites.
    • Job costing for inventory.
    • Lead safety meetings with crews weekly.
    • Record time for location and task.
    • Profitability of the commercial construction department by projecting budget versus actual numbers and staying within those guidelines.
    • Enforce, identify, and develop new SOPs as needed.
    • Report equipment problems, unsafe conditions, and accidents to the assistant operations manager and manager of safety.
    • Respond to any emergencies, when necessary.
    • Evaluate safe work techniques and job site hazards.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Minimum Education or Training Required
    • Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Horticulture degree
    Minimum Experience Required
    • 1+ years horticultural nursery work or college equivalent.
    • 1+ years leadership experience.
    • 2+ years experience locating, sourcing, and ordering plants.

    • Maintain a clean and organized job site, shop, nursery, and company truck.
    • Ability to operate equipment in a safe and competent manner and in accordance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
    • Practice company safety behaviors at all times.
