- Prepare and Serve Beverages:
- Craft top-notch espresso-based beverages, such as lattes, cappuccinos, macchiatos, and more.
- Brew an array of coffee and tea drinks following set recipes.
- Maintain consistency in flavor, quality, and presentation of all drinks.
- Customer Service:
- Extend a warm welcome to customers upon entry.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Accurately and efficiently take customer orders.
- Offer details about menu items, including ingredients and allergens.
- Address customer concerns and questions promptly and courteously.
- Present suggestions to the cafe manager and think creatively for process improvements.
- Food Preparation:
- Help in preparing light meals, sandwiches, and pastries.
- Ensure food items are fresh, well-preserved, and visually appealing.
- Maintain Cleanliness:
- Keep the coffee bar, equipment, and seating areas orderly and clean.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols, including proper sanitation practices.
- Regularly clean, such as wiping counters, sweeping floors, and washing dishes.
- Inventory and Stock Management:
- Monitor and replenish supplies like coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other ingredients.
- Support in inventory checks and notify the manager of low stock levels.
- Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service and a positive workplace.
- Engage in training sessions and team gatherings as needed.
- Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Barista or in a similar position is preferred.
- Sound knowledge of coffee and espresso preparation methods.
- Food Handlers License A MUST.
