- Successful counseling and teaching experience at the high school level preferred.
- Ability to perform in all areas of counseling services including, but not limited to: guidance services, counseling services, registration process, scheduling, testing/assessments, student academic advisement and orientation programs for students, parents and staff.
- Demonstrate an ability to gather, interpret and evaluate data for the purpose of program modification and interventions.
- Ability to align assessments with state content standards.
- Strong communication, organization and planning skills.
- Positively impact achievement and differentiate services based on the needs of the students by supporting programs designed to increase student achievement.
- Ability to work with a diverse student population
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills through collaborative work with students, teachers, parents and administrators.

- Hold a valid Colorado School Counselor License.
