    As a Forklift Operator, your primary responsibility will be moving products, unloading bulk products such as lumber from flatbed trailers and railcars using lift equipment, and scanning products using a radio frequency (RF) gun. You will also be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of labels on products, verifying that the information on paperwork matches the product received or loaded outbound, and responding to public address system announcements. The role includes physical tasks such as bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting (up to 75 lbs.), pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods of time.

    This is a contract position with a duration of 19 Weekly.

    Work Site

    This is a fully on-site position in Fremont, California.

    Work Environment

    The work environment involves working in a lumber yard where safety is a top priority. Daily safety vest wear is required. The work schedule is day shift from 4:00am-2:30pm with 2 hours of overtime daily on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday with Wednesday and Thursday off. Part-time work on Friday and Saturday from 4:00am-2:30pm is also available. The role may require you to cross-train on other jobs and provide support to other teams as necessary. The work environment may include uneven walking surfaces, exposure to dust, fumes, noise, external weather conditions, and handling merchandise, supplies, and tools with sharp edges or that contain hazardous materials.
