Job Description
Support Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) objectives through active participation in field observation processes during jobsite visits
Ensure construction and operability safety is incorporated into designs
Review / comment on drawings from IFA through IFC and actively participate in model reviews
Interface with vendors, 3rd parties, Operations, Contractors, etc
Ensure as built redline drawings are kept current and submitted to engineering
Facilitate timely RFI response and resolution
Ensure change management process is effectively followed
Act as the single point of contact between construction and engineering to ensure consistent and timely communication
Facilitate construction readiness review
Coordinate, schedule, and lead PSSR walkdown
Assist in the resolution of material procurement, logistics, expediting, and availability issues, as assigned.
Review and comment on contractors submitted change orders.
Provide input into the development of Contractor execution schedules, as required.
Skills Required
Must have knowledge of and experience in the construction or engineering of industrial facilities, well facilities and pipelines.
Effective problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Working knowledge of construction execution processes
5+ years of major oil and gas industry project experience
Advanced proficiency with P&ID and Isometric drawings
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
10+ years of experience construction / capital project experience
Prior experience in role with similar responsibilities
Demonstrated technical competenceunderstanding of design and installation of brownfield facilities
Strong multi-tasking skills with ability to handle multiple ongoing activities
Field experience and proficient in interpreting drawings.
Ability to lead the PSR process and manage change effectively.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary interface between construction crews and project engineers.
Resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Lead the PSR process and manage change effectively.
Conduct drawing review meetings and coordinate project kick-offs.
Duration:
Position extends until the end of the year, with a possibility of extension based on workload.
Work Schedule:
Typically six days on, one day off, occasionally requiring a seventh day.
Project Nature:
Mainly involves brownfield retrofit projects, with potential involvement in greenfield projects.
Travel Requirement :
The role is 85% field-based, with travel to the office as needed.
Vehicle Provision:
Options available for either providing a vehicle or reimbursing for mileage.
Software Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite required; familiarity with Navisworks beneficial but not mandatory.
