    Our client is a global specialty materials developer supporting personal care, healthcare, and household care products. They are currently looking to add a Technical Sales Manager to their team.


    Salary/Hourly Rate:
    $130k - $150k DOE

    Position Overview:

    Our client seeks an experienced Technical Sales Manager with a background in business-to-business sales, chemistry/material science, and specialty chemical application to help expand the markets of personal care, healthcare, and homecare segments.

    This role is remote with some domestic traveling required.

    Responsibilities of the Technical Sales Manager:
    Strategize plans to target customers based on business focus, materials application, and product focus. Manage sales activities including follow-up work on clients' technical inquiries to optimize results. Implement sales projections, budgets, and project deliverables and document stages of progress via Salesforce. Facilitate client meetings, technical presentations, meetings with potential buyers from tradeshows, and other related activities that will generate sales. Employ a consultative approach to answer technical questions for clients. Manage accounts and follow up on client requests.

    Qualifications for the Technical Sales Manager:
    Experience in a business-to-business direct sales role in the personal care, healthcare, or household/homecare segments. Ability to travel domestically.


    Education Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines. MBA is a plus.
