The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Director of Operations to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in Cranston, RI. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is a remote position.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the daily operations and administrative functions of the Cobra and Eligibility Team.
    • This position is responsible for strategic planning and ensuring efficient and effective operations.
    • Work closely with the Cobra and Eligibility team to streamline processes, improve productivity, and manage notifications and processing of benefits as required to meet Federal regulations.
    • Contribute to a positive workplace environment.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree focused on health informatics or business administration preferred.
    • 5-7+ years of experience working in healthcare and/or benefits is required.
    • 5+ years of experience working with COBRA is preferred.
    • 5+ years of client or member facing experience required.
    • Detail oriented with the ability to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and sense of urgency.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to compose communications with members.
    • Proven ability to work independently as well as provide team support when needed.
    • Create flawless execution of qualifying event notices, initial rights notifications, and carrier communications related to coverage/case resolution.
    • Conduct routine audit of system work to ensure quality.
