    Provide administrative support two days a week to Atlantic City facilities operations and programs and coordinate (remotely) with the finance and admin team in the Newark location


    Duties and responsibilities
      • Review invoices and create/ process purchase orders and check requests to ensure the timely payment of obligations.
      • Interacts with select vendors as needed to ascertain and provide information regarding service visits, orders and shipments.
      • Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail. Including trips to the post office as needed.
      • Organize and maintain electronic and document files related to department work tasks.
      • Maintain office supply and fulfill department specific office supply needs.
      • Act as a main steward for AC petty cash fund.
      • Manage youth savings deposits and withdrawals, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and accounting of the same. Documenting transactions on youth records and managing accounts. Provide monthly activities and youth ledger to the finance office within five (5) business days of the month end.
      • Deposit cash and/or checks/money order etc.. to the bank in Atlantic City.
      • Review and respond to departmental and employee's own email, voicemail and postal mail in a timely manner.
      • Provide administrative support on assigned projects as needed.
      • Ability to work with a diverse population of youth aged 18-22 as well as staff across multiple departments.
      • Bachelors' degree a plus
      • One year or more experience in administrative tasks, cash handling and spreadsheet experience required.
      • Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
      • Excellent writing, interpersonal and verbal skills required.
      • Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments
      • Must possess a valid New Jersey driver's license with an insurable driving record required.

    This is a temporary 2 day a week position.
