    Job Overview:

    We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technician to join our team. As a Technician, you will be responsible for performing various diagnostic imaging procedures and assisting with patient care. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced medical environment and contribute to the well-being of our patients.

    Duties:

    Perform mammography, x-ray, sonography, and other diagnostic imaging procedures as required

    Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort

    Position patients correctly and operate imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images

    Assist radiologists and physicians in interpreting images and providing accurate diagnostic evaluations

    Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed

    Adhere to safety protocols and ensure proper handling of equipment

    Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care

    Requirements:

    Valid certification or license as a Technician in the relevant field

    Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of anatomy and physiology

    Experience working in an emergency room or similar fast-paced medical environment is preferred

    Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

    Ability to work well in a team setting and collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals

    Skills:

    Proficient in mammography, x-ray, sonography, and other diagnostic imaging techniques

    Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to interpret diagnostic evaluations accurately

    Familiarity with anatomy and physiology for proper positioning of patients during procedures

    Experience working with PET scans is a plus
