Job Description Qualifications:
The Boeing Company is looking for an Associate Quality Engineer to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK. The Quality Engineer for this position will be supporting the Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) department. Their primary responsibility will be ensuring compliance of lab testing processes and procedures. The role requires conducting thorough evaluations to assess compliance with industry standards and internal quality requirements.
Additionally, the Quality Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead root cause corrective action investigations, identify, and implement improvements, while maintaining documentation and providing clear communication.
Position Responsibilities:
Researches contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements for applicability to specific proposals and program processes and documentationDevelops sections of quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirementsAnalyzes capability assessments to support supplier selection activitiesParticipates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designsPerforms data analysis to ensure manufacturing and test readinessProvides material review dispositions for non-conformancesAnalyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actionsCompiles performance reports and other statistical data to ensure specified processes capability levels are achievedWorks under general supervisionThis position is expected to be 100% onsite.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science1+ years of experience working in Quality, Supplier Quality or Supplier Management1+ years of experience with Quality Engineering or Test EngineeringExperience in root cause analysis and corrective actionPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 1+ years of experience in Quality Management System (QMS)1+ years of experience in statistical data analysis with statistical softwareExperience using and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specificationsExperience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standardExperience applying audit standards, procedures, and techniquesExperience with process specification developmentTypical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g.
Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.
