- Board certified and/or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist, Registered Radiologic Technologist, or Board certified Cardiopulmonary Technologist.
- Provides for the delivery of patient care through the utilization of all technical expertise pertaining to invasive procedures done in the Cardiac Catherization Laboratory.
- Assists the physician with the procedures under sterile conditions. Deals with intense, stressful, and life-threatening situations dictated by procedures done in the Cath Lab.
- Demonstrates competence and knowledge in the assessment, treatment and care from the newborn to the geriatric patient as applicable.
- May be assigned to work the late shift or required to work overtime on short notice.
- Rotates daily, weekends and holiday call back in case of acute emergencies.
