    Job Description

    The Branch Manager has leadership, strategic, business development, and P&L management responsibility of an assigned area. Reports to the District Manager and/or Vice President of US Operations.

    Must be able to develop an annual business plan with sales forecast and operating budgets that meet the required return on sales and return on investment and has key responsibility for the implementation and management of that plan.

    The Branch Manager serves as the key spokesperson and promoter of the Company business in the assigned area. Participates in formulating a regional strategy and assists in facilitating interbranch and district opportunities.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    Develops, submits, implements, manages, and reports on area business plan, budgets, and business opportunities.
    Responsible for developing new business

    relationships/opportunities.
    Provides leadership and promotes corporate goals and values.
    Creates, develops, facilitates, and coordinates business opportunities for the area, district, and the organization as a whole.
    Provides strategic input at the District and Corporate level.
    Organizes and chairs regular Branch meetings.
    Recruits and develops qualified staff within the context of approved budgets and plans.
    Facilitates communication with all Branches, between Districts, and with the office of the Vice President of US Operations.
    Reviews and evaluates existing personnel, including timely formal reviews. Works with the Vice President of US Operations and Corporate Office to ensure uniform sales, service, and reporting methods.

    Responsible for the safety and good health of the Branch employees. Must maintain a clean and orderly facility which provides a safe working environment for all employees.

    SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
    Ability to use good judgment when communicating with customers, sales representatives, and intercompany personnel. Position requires dealing with situations that require much tact and resourcefulness to maintain good relationships at all levels.
