- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to comprehend business needs and ensure adherence to procurement policies
- Analyze quotations, recommend cost negotiation strategies, and ensure compliance with bid requirements
- Review purchase requisitions for accuracy
- Develop, issue, and track RFQs, providing value and risk analysis for negotiations
- Communicate purchase requirements, changes, and priorities to suppliers
- Review subcontracts with suppliers to ensure compliance and address commercial issues
- Execute and amend purchase orders
- Prepare procurement documentation and maintain accurate purchasing records
- Resolve quality and reliability issues with suppliers and monitor deliveries
- Assist in projects and programs as needed
- Travel requirements as per business needs
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Manufacturing Engineering, or Finance (preferred)
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Supply Chain (preferred)
- 6-8 years' experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain within aviation/aerospace
- 3+ years' experience in aircraft design and manufacturing processes
- Thorough understanding of procurement processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (preferably SAP)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills across all levels internally and externally
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Analytical skills and the ability to present conclusions
- May require occasional travel
- Exposure to operational noise, varying temperatures, and aircraft equipment
- Physical agility to perform job duties efficiently
- Compliance with safety regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Capable of lifting and moving items up to 10 lbs.
