    Event Server Job Description

    Canyon Catering is seeking a talented and passionate Event Server to join our team.

    Job Summary

    We are looking for a highly motivated individual to work as an Event Server for all off-premise events. The successful candidate will be required to work closely with our event staff, including chefs and bartenders, to ensure seamless service delivery.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist in unloading equipment and food from the truck and place it in the designated area of the event.
    • Lift and move heavy loads, up to 40 pounds, as required.
    • Set up tables, buffets, and stations to meet the needs of our clients.
    • Serve every table efficiently and effectively.
    • Refill beverages promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
    • Clear each course of plates and flatware in a timely manner.
    • Answer guest questions and address any concerns.
    • Clean up and break down the event site after completion.
    • Loading equipment onto the Canyon Vehicle at the end of the event.

    Essential Skills and Qualifications

    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • High stamina levels to withstand physical demands of the job.
    • Able to work effectively as part of a team.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
    • Possess a valid Food Handler Card.

    Work Schedule

    Most off-site staff positions are part-time on-call, with event work primarily taking place in the evenings and weekends.
