    VSL- 2nd Shift Warehouse in Covington at Welbilt Location *

    3 to 5 years **Job Description**

    **Essential Job Functions:**

    Coach, train, counsel, and evaluate performance of team members against company production, safety, quality, and management standards

    Manage team members to insure productivity, safety, and efficiency levels are obtained and communicate status of objectives to team

    Inspect product to insure conformance to quality, engineering standards, and customer requirements

    Resolve issues through root cause analysis and implement corrective actions

    Execute quarterly improvement projects in the assigned area

    Perform duties of assigned area

    Complete and maintain all associated electronic processes paperwork (including but not limited to checklists, stamping, blueprints, bar coding and including shipping material)

    Continuously improve departmental housekeeping and 5S standards

    Perform duties in accordance with current Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and Manitowoc Code of Conduct requirements

    Actively participate in safety training and demonstrate competency by effectively resolving safety issues or bringing them to the attention of management

    Qualifications - External

    **Job Requirements/Working Conditions:**

    High School Diploma required

    3-5 years experience preferred

    Maintain 90% on scorecard

    Complete understanding of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within a manufacturing environment

    Complete understanding of job flow principles and impacts of events in delaying downstream processes

    Good verbal and written communication skills within the English language

    Basic computer knowledge

    Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, safety, and quality standards

    Ability to think analytically, possess mechanical aptitude, and perform root cause analysis

    Basic understanding of carrying out human resource duties

    Stand and walk on concrete up to 100% of work day

    Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch

    Lift and carry up to 35 lbs alone and over 35 lbs with assistance

    Ability to use hands to reach and to handle or feel

    Ability to work over 40 hours as required
