- Direct staff to provide quality and appropriate resident care that meets or exceeds company and regulatory standards.
- Ensure sound infection control practices are in place that promote a healthy environment and ensure all required infection control training is met.
- Participate in resident and family care conferences.
- Ensure that changes in resident conditions are evaluated, reported, monitored, and documented with follow up to assure interventions are implement4ed and documented.
- Provide leadership and direction to the care team, including nurses, caregivers, and other staff members.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to meet the individual needs and preferences of each resident.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines related to resident care.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of resident health and well-being.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and residents to coordinate medical care and services.
- Foster a supportive and collaborative environment that promotes teamwork and enhances the overall quality of care.
- Monitor infection control protocols and safety measures to ensure the well-being of residents and staff.
- Oversee medication management and administration processes.
- Provide guidance and support to staff members to ensure they have the necessary resources and training to deliver exceptional care.
- Current LPN license in NC
- Previous experience in a leadership role in a healthcare setting, preferably in assisted living or long-term care
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of geriatric care practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and tasks
- Demonstrated leadership ability and a passion for serving seniors
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems is preferred

Position summary
