Baltimore Washington Medical Center (UMBWMC), a member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our well established Neurology practice in our outpatient clinic, located on BWMC's campus in Glen Burnie, MD.

Job Description

Looking to add a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to help support a group of three Neurologists
Responsibilities will include full scope of outpatient neurology services but not limited to: Follow ups for stable neurology patients; see the occasional urgent ad on appointments; responsible for all neurology patient calls during office hours, refilling prescriptions and paperwork as needed.
Our Neurologist outpatient services include EMGs, EEGs, migraines, dementia, stroke, seizures, Parkinson's and other neurological disorders.
Efficient, collaborative, team of physicians, nurses, medical staff support.

Ideal schedule is Monday through Friday, No weekends, No call requirements.

Qualifications

Graduation from a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner educational program approved by the State Board of Licensing or found by the Board to be substantially equivalent to the programs in Maryland required.
Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
Current BLS certification or obtained prior to providing direct patient care is required.
DEA and CDS eligible.
