    Functional Specialist/Advisor (Functional/Expert Consultant)

    Overall Assignment Description: Provides expertise, guidance, consultation, facilitation, and thought leadership to the client and/or project team based on specialized in-depth expertise in such fields as: SharePoint for web presence; web page and visual design; human capital; business and management; engineering and technology; policy and administration; planning; analysis; training and development; facilities; and communication.Monitors products and services throughout the life cycle; validates/verifies adherence to specified requirements through test and measurement activities; manages/leads quality assurance activities.Works closely with assigned staff senior specialists or task leads.

    Duties may include: As part of the Analysis Office of Counterterrorism, individuals in this position will provide GEOINT production support to counterterrorism analysts, and the project and programs the office is involved with.Specifically, these individuals will:

    • Prepare activity and progress reports regarding the database management.
    • Assist in the migration of Counterterrorism scripts, applications, widgets and toolsets from the developmental stage to an operational baseline.
    • Promote future growth of NGAs web reporting capability to include Intelink, SharePoint, and other NGA and IC websites both classified and sensitive but unclassified.
    • Identify, compile, and access geospatial and imagery data sets to support office requirements.
    • Disseminate finished geospatial intelligence information, which is posted to Intelink, SharePoint, and other NGA and IC websites both classified and sensitive but unclassified.
    • Develop, maintain, and improve all processes supporting the production of NGA Counterterrorism data and products.
    • Maintain all systems, servers, and infrastructure pursuant to the derivation of counterterrorism GEOINT production for the Office of Counterterrorism.
    • Prepare activity and progress reports briefings, presentations, and demonstrations.Specific products contractor will support:

    oMonthly Reports

    oTrip Reports if travel is performed

    oIssues memoranda, briefings, papers and documents to Senior Management Review evaluations and recommendations

    oInput for weekly activity reports and weekly staff meetings

    oProject/Concept Plans

    oMeeting minutes

    Skills and Experience:

    Required:

    • Possess a Bachelors Degree or higher in International Security or Science field OR at least 8 years relevant experience in the counter terrorism or physical security field in lieu of a Bachelors Degree.
    • Demonstrated experience related to the counter-terrorism field, along with certification and use of applicable tools, methodologies, and best practices.
    • Possess the ability to work rapidly in a high tempo, high stress environment that often requires multi-tasking with little to no supervision. Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills, as well as strong organizational, interpersonal, and customer relations skills.
    • Demonstrated experience of computer database and developing long-range requirements for database administration and design.
    • Possess a minimum of 2 years experience using SharePoint web capabilities including web page maintenance.

    Desired:

    • Familiarity with NGAs web presence tools, policies, and updating procedures.
    • Experience planning, coordinating, and monitoring products/requirements/services throughout project lifecycle.
    • Experience related to the counterterrorism field, along with certification and use of applicable tools, methodologies, and best practices.
