What we expect

• Design development of new process, equipment, and automation
• Improvement of equipment and automation for increased utilization yield
• Optimization of vision systems for high-speed measurement and inspection of components
• Identification and assessment of new technologies
• Process improvement and cost reduction projects
• Design, execution, and analysis of experiments
• Troubleshooting of automation problems
• Coordination with project team members, engineering, production, and quality as required
• Interactions with engineers, technicians, RD groups, and customers in the U.S. and overseas
• Training of technicians, operators, and other appropriate personnel

Who we are looking for

• BS or MS in Engineering, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• 5 to 10 or more years of Automation experience in industry
• 3 or more years of Vision Systems experience in industry
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
• Competence in statistical analysis
• Good organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal

BENEFICIAL SKILLS:

• Robotics
• Machine programming
• Ability to work with a variety of machine programming languages and learn new languages quickly
• Experience with high-volume production
• 6 Sigma, Lean, DOE, TPM
