    SUMMARY Nanobiosym is an innovative nanotechnology company in Cambridge, MA that is developing point-of-care diagnostics to address a broad range of diseases.

    Nanobiosym was founded by an MIT/Harvard alum to work at the interface of physics, nanotechnology, and biomedicine. This hyper growth company allows for unique career opportunities with strong long-term incentives. Nanobiosym is currently seeking rock-star candidates to play an integral management role in the company's scale up. In this position, the Director of Manufacturing will be responsible for building, managing, and developing the Manufacturing team.

    There will be heavy focus on employee development, safety, process, training and maintaining production schedules to meet production goals and company objectives.

    The Director of Manufacturing will work cross functionally with other departments including offsite installations to achieve company contractual commitments and goals.

    Other objectives will be developing team and processes for company growth and scale.

    The Director of Manufacturing must have a firm understanding of manufacturing documentation, process flow, tooling, people management, data collection and analyzing, and manufacturing equipment RESPONSIBLITIESLead the manufacturing team in providing resources and labor services to internal and external customers by meeting product delivery goals that align with Connect Homes strategic objectives.

    Maintain ISO compliance and documentation for all manufacturing aspectsOversee manufacturing efforts with emphasis on; planned vs actual, quantity, labor cost breaks and Efficiency/Effectiveness to meet project budget and minimize project cash flow during build cycles.

    Foster and maintain interdepartmental relationships in a fair and ethical manner.

    Develop long term strategic plans that will provide value to the company in the form of quality, on-time delivery, cost, risk reduction, etc.

    Assist in development and maintain of an annual manufacturing operational budget that strategically aligns with short- and long-term company objectives.

    Measure against and reforecast as necessary for company alignment.

    Develop and implement a process for providing KPI's and performance analysis that support continuous improvement, ultimately developing measurement methods and metrics that support company growth and scalability.

    Develop long term staffing plans and skills metrics. Develop training program that meets workplace and guideline safety principle. Further develop the organization structure to expand with future company scale in mind. Develop and implement cycle counting procedures, ensure they are routinely followed. Implement and maintain the ERP implementation process as it relates to manufacturing and manufacturing operations. Manage risk through process and process improvement development. Provide leadership and mentorship for the team posturing individuals for growth and future department/company expansion. Provide feedback and ideas for improvement of the company's operating procedures as it relates to manufacturing. Develop return on investment/trade studies to clearly support investments or operational changes. Actively participate in Continuous Improvement Initiatives. Performs other duties as required. QUALIFICATIONSMasters degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, product Development/production or minimum of 10-15 years' experience in similar field. Minimum 10 years leading teams and projects. Directly managed staff of 5+ employees, including performance evaluations, career path development, team growth and performance management. Highly organized and strong communication skills are required Experience with MRP/ERP and PLM software Advanced Knowledge of ISO 13485 Experience in manufacturing of medical devices Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, advanced skill level in Excel Competent in Manufacturing/Production methodologies, principles, and practices Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Excellent written verbal communication skills with ability to articulate to leadership Ability to plan methodically with intent, employing strategic critical thinking
